VAN NESS & GEARY CAMPUS

Hospital ER Entrance Celebrating SF Skyline

This 13-story, 274 bed acute care hospital is centrally located in downtown San Francisco. The $2.1 billion project will include specialized and advanced care, along with emergency care among its state-of-the-art services. My on-site photography focused on the 150 foot Ombrae feature wall running the length of the ER ambulance entrance.

Punched into aluminum panels, using Ombrae's proprietary imaging technology, is an enormous panoramic view of the city commissioned by project architects SmithGroup. Additionally, I captured some exteriors of the hospital for Keith Panel Systems, and their white aluminum composite cladding contribution.
